Matthew White

Matthew White’s writing credits include Top Hat, which enjoyed a successful West End run at the Adelphi Theatre, toured Britain and Japan, and won three Olivier awards including Best New Musical; Mr. Stink, a theatrical adaptation of David Walliams’ best-selling novel (Leicester Curve and national tour); Far From the Madding Crowd (Samuel French), an adaptation of Thomas Hardy’s novel produced at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury; Staging a Musical (Bloomsbury), and three musicals for children based on Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes, including Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk (Bloomsbury). Matthew is also a director and actor.
